About

I started selling toys in 1996 as Brickedogg Toyz — mostly to keep my own growing collection under control. Back then it was Toys"R"Us, Kay-Bee Toys, flea markets, comic book shops, anywhere I could dig through boxes hunting down hard-to-find figures. I'd keep what I wanted for the collection and sell the rest.

Life happened — marriage, a house, kids — and I stepped away from selling for a while. Then in the late 2000s I came back on eBay and opened my first brick-and-mortar shop, now as Brad's Toy Room. After a year or so I stepped back from the storefront and spent years selling at toy shows, which I did until 2018, when we opened a location inside Big E's Antique and Thrift. I really like the multi-vendor format — and customers seem to as well — so I opened a second location inside Carnival of Collectables in 2020 and a third inside Bristol Antiques in 2021.

In 2020 I also picked up my first 3D printer, which opened up a whole new side of the business: pop-culture prints for my sales locations and a growing online inventory. eBay has always been Brad's Toy Room's best sales floor, and the printer opened the door to Etsy too.

These days you'll also find me behind the camera — I shoot toy photography as @bradstoyroom on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, building little worlds for the figures I sell and collect.

Through all these years and all the ways to find Brad's Toy Room, one thing hasn't changed: I'm always hunting down the best toys to offer you at a great price.
